Role Overview
· To take care of incoming, Storage, Issue, inventory accounting and shipment process of Warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure seamless operations
· Ensuring that all materials are properly identified and stored in proper location and locations are updated in the ERP system
· Ensure that stock inventory is carried out in a timely manner by doing cycle count and annual physical inventories and maintain accurate inventory records.
· Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages and excess inventory.
· Improve warehouse layout, storage utilization, and material flow.
· Drive continuous improvement and problem solving to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
· Drive digitalization and warehouse automation initiatives
· Identify Capex requirement and implement on time
· Adherence of internal timelines on goods receipt, material kitting, packing and shipment.
· Ensuring there is no customer complaints due to packing and shipments
· Preparing SOP/Work instructions for each activity and validate time to time.
· Packing various types of products properly as per SOP/WI/ customer requirements.
· Maintaining standards of Health, Safety and Security in the work environment.
· Drive hazard reporting and corrective actions
· Develop team capabilities through training and coaching. Motivating and encouraging the team to ensure productivity targets are met
· Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
· Planning and arranging packing materials on time
· Interdepartmental coordination for effective completion of activity
· Ensuring Shelf-life items audit is carried out on monthly basis and follow FIFO
· Handling statutory audits and ensuring there is no observations in audit
· Work together to plan, monitor and review work objectives and overall contribution to the organization
· Maintain 5S and visual management
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
· Minimum 15 years of experience in Stores/Warehouse Management.
· Experience with SAP / IFS or any ERP Material Management module is mandatory.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
