Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities: 

Critical Competencies for Success

• ·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with focus on mechanical, industrial, or similar discipline

  ·       At least 3 years in mechanical product design role

  ·       Must have working knowledge of MS Office and CAD software (ACAD, Solidworks)

  ·       Must have good interpersonal communication skills.

  ·       Must have basic knowledge of properties of gas and liquids – thermodynamics.

  ·       Must have knowledge of mechanical design and stress analysis.

  ·       Must have basic knowledge in principles of flow and fluid statics and dynamics.

  ·       Must have manufacturing drawing comprehension.

  ·       Must have knowledge of ANSYS FEA software.

  ·       Experience designing to ASME Section III and RCC-M nuclear codes.

   

  Preferred Qualifications

  ·       Preferred basic knowledge of properties of engineering materials.

  ·       Preferred basic knowledge of metal removal processes, heat-treating, plating, welding, sheer metal bending, and coating technology.
