Role Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for collections, credit, forecasting, accounts receivable duties, and billing. Completes and maintain weekly collections report while resolving payment issues which may cause delay. Collect on all current and assigned past due invoices to achieve cash flow targets and ensure prompt payment of invoices.  Records payments to customer’s accounts, maintains accounts receivable records by performing the following duties.

Work Environment:  This position will be onsite 5 days/week for the first 90 days then hybrid/onsite 3 days/week after that in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers, reps and others via telephone, mail, and email to ensure prompt payments and down payments.
  • Work with the Sales/PM, logistics, and shipping teams to resolve any disputes on customer orders/invoices.
  • Work cooperatively with invoicing team to resolve issues with invoices submitted electronically.
  • Perform analysis, identify, and help to resolve exposures and issues, communicate findings to management.
  • Process cash application process and applying customer credit card payments.
  • Run customer credit report and provide credit information for credit terms/limit decisions for approvals.
  • Perform annual customer credit reviews.
  • Maintain customer database and account information.
  • Maintain customer and invoice files.
  • Prepare and maintain customer collection forecasts. 
  • Meet with other internal departments to resolve customer disputes and communicate findings to management.
  • Respond to customer queries promptly and timely.
  • This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in high volume, global AR collection environment or related field.
  • Educational background in accounting/ finance preferred.
  • ERP/SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be accurate and detailed oriented.
  • Must have a proactive, positive attitude and be comfortable working in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently in multinational organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills is a must.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems that may arise.

Hourly rate:  $30 - $35 

Within the range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the job requirements. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
