The Role: Commissioning Engineer

The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve, i.e. schedule, plan, documents control and preparation, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion in the right time. In addition, when necessary, he is responsible for inspection, repair and easy commissioning of HIPPS (instrumentation, control and mechanical) at our sub vendor workshops and at our customers site.

Main Task/Responsibilities

·        Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects

·        Monitor compliance to applicable international codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

·        Prepare project documentations (e.g. schematic, procedure, narratives, etc)

·        Control project documentations received by the suppliers

·        Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field

·        Interact daily with the suppliers and lead them in order to comply with customer and project requirements in the right time and with proper quality level

·        Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status

·        Develop software of the control system that will be used for the project

·        Cooperate and communicate effectively with all other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

·        Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

·        Attend all necessary meetings at customer’s locations and supplier’s workshop

·        Attend and supervise/lead all necessary tests at sub-supplier’s workshops and customer’s site

·        Disassemble, inspect, found, document, repair, install and adjust / calibrate of CCI products.

·        Monitoring and supervision of installation, commissioning and storage regulations for CCI products.

·        Work daily risk analysis of the workplace including logging

·        Report of unusual cases of damage to the departments

·        Report the working hours, spare parts and labor

·        Advising the customer of preventive maintenance and / or sales message at valve / fittings problems

·        Compliance with the working time rules
