Role Overview:

The Inside Sales Engineer provides customers with solutions to problems in the form of customized products which serve customer needs, meets technical and economic goals, and is profitable to manufacturer.

Work Environment:  This position will be onsite 5 days/week for the first 90 days then hybrid/onsite 3 days/week after that in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Order entry for assigned territory.
  • Maintain data integrity within the CRM system
  • Update stage and status of opportunities and orders
  • Generate and provide accurate quotations for Parts and Aftermarket business in a timely manner including any revisions.
  • Propose efficient PMP (Prevent Maintenance Plan) for assigned territory.
  • Update the sales price list.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationship with customer in assigned territory
  • Assist with customers requests at office and help junior staff.
  • Arrange necessary historical maintenance report and data.
  • Provide suitable advice to junior staff.
  • Check and negotiate the delivery schedule with operations team and feeder factory.
  • Provide information of required lead time, cost, customer message to outside sales.
  • Improve and strengthen various types of skills and expert knowledge
  • Attend the necessary education and training arranged by Company

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required (Engineering degree preferred).
  • 5 plus years of related business/industry experience
  • Proactive, positive, customer focused mindset. Quick response time.  
  • Strong ability to follow up and complete tasks/projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal partners and external customers
  • Valve or flow control experience preferred.  Energy industry experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Teamwork and collaboration to achieve goals 
  • CRM (Salesforce) and ERP experience

Base salary:  $90k - $105k 

Within the range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the job requirements. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to receive a variable incentive pay component. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
